Diary – Spring 2011
Since 2006 ‘re-dress’ have been regularly running workshops in community halls, schools and colleges throughout Cornwall and Devon. Due to the recent discovery of particularly ‘funky, beautifully pink and very sparkly’ wallpaper, ‘re-dress’ are now launching a brand new series of workshops to be held at the newly wallpapered, re-vamped, re-dressed ‘re-dress HQ’ at Islington Wharf, Penryn. (reducing the ‘re-dress carbon footprint even further)
Participants learn how to make new unique garments from the clothes that they love, do not wear any more but cannot bear to throw away.
No previous sewing experience required, just a passion for having fun and eating cake whilst meeting new people in a small, friendly, 'creatively chilled out' atmosphere! For this reason advance booking is essential as places are limited.
