Community Workshops

Over the past three years re-dress have regularly run workshops in village halls, schools and colleges throughout Cornwall and Devon. They teach participants how to create their own unique garments from clothes that they love, cannot bear to throw away but no longer wear.

Workshops are suitable for all, even those with no previous sewing experience, just a passion for having fun and eating cake whilst meeting new people in a small, friendly, 'creatively chilled out' atmosphere!

Due to the recent discovery of particularly ‘funky, beautifully pink and very sparkly’ wallpaper, re-dress are now launching a brand new series of workshops to be held at the newly wallpapered, re-vamped, re-dressed ‘re-dress HQ !!!!’ (we also realised this would reduce our carbon footprint even further - oops why did we not think of this before we ask ourselves !!!!!)

re-dress are offering both full day sessions and also a series of evening classes. Booking is essential though as places are limited.

Full day 10am – 4pm Cost: £25 (refreshments included)

Evening classes Tuesdays: 7pm – 9pm Cost: £6 per session or sign up for 6 for the price of 5 (£30)

We try to offer classes at a reasonable and affordable price as we have found that in this way many people return time and again – We do not want recycling to cost the earth !!!!!!!!.
